Our History
Freedom Boat club launched the original boat club concept in 1989. As the pioneer of the boat club, it is the undisputed leader in the recreational boating industry, and the oldest and largest boat club organization in North America.
Our Locations
Our first club was located in Sarasota FL, and has grown to a robust network of more than 175+ locations throughout the U.S, Canada, and Europe. We have two locations at the lake: HQ/Sales Office/Location #1 is at Bridgeview Marina, 873 Crow Lane, Ste B5 Osage Beach, MO Main Channel MM 19/or/ MM1 Grand Glaize; Location #2 in Horseshoe Bend off HH/Susan Road at Ozark Village Resort - MM2 Main Channel. One of the most popular membership benefits is the FREE reciprocal access to all of our club locations throughout North America!
FREEDOM BOAT CLUB BOATS range from 24-30 feet and many are new year over year. We provide you with a vast array of affordable and convenient boating options. Choose from our fleet of leading brands including tritons, bow riders, deck boats, double decker tritons with water slides, wake surf boats, center-console fishing boats … plus a select sampling of paddleboards and kayaks.
ALL FREEDOM BOAT CLUB BOATS are equipped with extremely quiet and highly efficient four-stroke engines. Each boat is fully outfitted with United States Coast Guard (U.S.C.G.) required safety equipment. In addition, our boats come equipped with a depth finder, front and rear anchors, quick clip fenders, dock lines, life jackets suited for water sports, fish finders on fishing vessels, ladders, tables with pedestals and bimini tops.
Our goal is to ensure that our members feel both comfortable and confident at the helm. As a FREEDOM BOAT CLUB member, you are entitled to receive FREE unlimited training by our team of in-house United States Coast Guard licensed captains.
We provide personalized 1:1 instruction, including two hours of classroom and two hours of on-the-water instruction. We also offer additional training for our offshore boats and unlimited local orientations at all company operated locations.
Hassle-Free Service
Your hassle-free boating experience begins the moment you arrive at the dock. The dockmaster helps you get your belongings loaded onto the boat. You and your crew head out on the water for a day of boating fun!
Upon your return, the dock staff will be there to greet you at the slip & simply turn in your keys and fuel receipt, The dock master helps you unload your gear, and then you drive away! No mess, no fuss, no work! Freedom Boat Club's team handles all of the cleaning and maintenance of the boat and engine, allowing you to spend 100 percent of your time having fun!
Insurance
Watercraft liability and physical damage is included in your membership. As a FBC member, you are covered up to $1,000,000 for claims made against you by third parties. You are responsible for the $2,500 Watercraft Liability and Physical Damage deductibles per occurrence.
Due to member demand, we offer an optional FBC-PLUS Program. For $450 annually the member and co-member get towing insurance and your exposure of the $2,500 will be lowered to $500 per occurrence.
Hours of Operation
Our hours of operation are from 9 a.m. to 1/2 hour before sunset, seven days a week. To ensure maximum opportunities for boating, we have a split reservation system. On the weekends and holidays, one reservation covers the period from 9 a.m. to 1 pm, and the second period runs from 2 pm to sunset. It takes 2 reservations to reserve a whole day on weekends or holidays.
We also allow you to keep boats overnight at your location. Advance authorization and one-time dock inspection (one-time dock insurance inspection fee of $150) is required for pre-approval by our Captain. A few rules apply. First, the boat must be kept at a dock overnight. Second, there is no driving of the boat at night.
Reservations
As a FREEDOM BOAT CLUB member, you have direct access to our on-line reservation system. You may book up to four reservations at any given time, two of which maybe weekend or holiday reservations. Once you have used a reservation, you may immediately book another.
In addition to your four advanced reservations, members may take advantage of our unlimited "spur of the moment" boat usage. Members may call on the day you want to boat and if a boat is available, you may have it for the entire day. These boats are available on a first-come first serve basis. We have two convenient locations at the lake you may choose to boat from., MM 19 & MM 2. As our membership continues to grow at the lake, we may add more locations.
Socials
In addition to being the nation’s premiere boat club, FREEDOM BOAT CLUB is also a social club. We host local dock parties at several of our club locations. These events offer a great opportunity to meet other members and make new friends who share your passion for boating! Our members share tips about local fishing hotspots, restaurants and island getaways! We created a Buddy Program to help connect members who would love to hook up with others for boating, fishing and watersports activities.
Our social events rotate to different locations, ranging from dock parties at our club locations, to restaurants and other popular area attractions. Members have attended sporting events together, toured cool attractions, taken party boat cruises, participated in recreational activities … and more!
FREEDOM BOAT CLUB provides a gateway to the ultimate boating lifestyle that you can only enjoy by becoming a member.
Costs
Freedom Boat Club offers several affordable and flexible membership programs and options. Choose from year-round, weekday and limited memberships to best suit your budget and lifestyle. Please note that these memberships are not transferable. (All prices are plus sales tax.)
All Freedom Boating Plans have a one-time entry fee based on the plan you select.
Freedom Boating Plan – $5500 one-time join fee, then only $335/Mo
The Freedom Boating Plan is for those who want 7 day/week access at all clubs. Unlimited 7-day usage for you and your spouse with 4 rolling reservations, 2 of which maybe weekend or holidays. You can split the one-time join fee with another person by adding $1000 to the join fee, then $275 per month in dues per person
Weekday Boating Plan - $4500 one-time join fee, then only $225/month
The Weekday Boating Plan is ideal for those who work weekends and want weekday access at all clubs with no holiday usage. Unlimited Monday through Friday usage for you and your spouse with 4 rolling reservations.
You can split the one-time join fee with another person by adding $1000 to the join fee, then $200 per month in dues per person.
Budget Boating Plan - Unlimited Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday boating (no holidays) $3500 one-time join fee, then only $200/month
The Budget Boating Plan is ideal for retirees or those who want to boat calmer days. Unlimited Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays (no holidays) for you and your spouse with 4 rolling reservations.
You can split the one-time join fee with another person by adding $1000 to the join fee, then $175 per month in dues per person. With all of the Freedom Boating Plans your monthly payments are guaranteed to remain fixed for a minimum of 24 months. In addition, you may cancel your membership at any time by providing FBC with a 60-day notice in writing... but you won’t want to!
