You should be safe any season of the year that you are boating in, but fall is right around the corner and the Lake of the Ozarks is a lot less crowded. While there are fewer people on the Lake, boat safety should still be a priority. Our boat club at the Lake of the Ozarks is here to give you a refresher on boat safety. To boat safely with Freedom Boat Club at the Lake of the Ozarks , call 573-302-0392. Boat Safety Tips Bring enough life jackets for everyone on board. If you are pulled over by the Water Patrol, one of the main things they may check for is that you have enough life jackets on board for everyone. If you don't, you may have to pay a serious fine. Always designate a sober captain. We hope everyone has fun while they are out on the water, but safety should still come first.
